We have wonderful news!

My Voice, My Choice has been included in EU budget documents for the first time.

With 435 votes in favour and just 135 against, the Parliament included a reference to My Voice, My Choice in the budget guidelines for 2027, as well as in the interim report on the next multiannual EU budget, known as the “Multiannual Financial Framework,” covering the years 2028 to 2034.

For the future of women’s rights in the EU, one of the most significant developments is the European Parliament’s clear demand for the next EU multiannual budget:

“[European Parliament] reiterates that adequate resources should be devoted to fighting gender-based violence and to supporting sexual and reproductive health and services, women’s rights organisations, and EU initiatives and bodies promoting true equality among people, regardless of their gender, age, sexual orientation or race; points out, in this regard, the Commission’s communication following Parliament’s resolution of December 2025 on the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) ‘My Voice, My Choice’;”

This is another important step toward making freedom of choice accessible to all women in Europe.
