We are seeing more and more organised online attacks against people who speak up for democracy, equality and a fairer world. Bots, fake accounts and real people can create overwhelming waves of hate designed to intimidate, humiliate and silence someone. In the most extreme cases, the pressure can have tragic consequences.
We don't want to accept that as normal, that is why we are launching Love Only.
When someone is targeted, we want them to see more than the hate. We want them to see people who care, people who support them and a community reminding them that the reality created by an organised attack is not the whole picture.
We are building a community of Kindness Ninjas and Kindness Fairies who are ready to show up when someone is under attack. When we identify an organised attack, we share a short explanation and a link to where support is needed. Volunteers can then leave a kind message and make solidarity visible.
We are launching the campaign because we want to live in a fairer, better and kinder world — and nobody should be pushed to the edge for speaking up.
